fun mixed reality game, but with a change to the Quest version! the mixed reality is changed for a virtual room. so if you planned to play this in your living room or so, you have to get the Quest version instead. but if you e.g. want to stream this game, this is the perfect version, because it doesn't show your room. i played it with my Rift here, so i can't say if the resolution of the textures or such are better here. for me with the Quest 3 the standalone version looks better, but i will play it again once i have a cable for my Quest. the price is the same without discount on Quest and Steam. there we some little issues, like typos or sometimes a bit lag, but some of it might have been related to my setup atm. great game if you are looking for something for your kids.

This game is even better on PCVR than it was on the Quest. The Quest version had some issues with mixed reality having the buildings jitter around with tracking issues, among other issues regarding mixed reality tracking and the Quest struggling at times to maintain adequate FPS in MR - let alone needing to play with bright lights turned on in your play area so MR looks decent with the Quest passthrough cameras. In the PCVR version, all of those issues are gone, and things run smooth with perfect lighting in each environment in VR since it is all hand-crafted. In this game you're experiencing a story campaign while you complete mini-games to collect resources which you use to upgrade your town buildings that allows you to progress in the story. There's a ton of mini-games, building types, and the story is long enough to justify the purchase, but the game does lack depth if you're looking for a complex city builder that is similar to something you'd play on PC with more robust systems. Experiencing all of this in VR is awesome though, so it lacking depth isn't necessarily a bad thing, and I just want to set expectations. Broken game, can't even get past the first few sections of the game cause of game breaking bugs. Tried restarting over and over again. Still broken. Sucks cause I been wanting this game since it first came out on Quest 3 but didnt have mix reality capabilities cause I only had Quest 2. Now the game is just broken.

Simply amazing. This game is something so cozy, sweet and fun. You can see the love they put on it with all the little details, the animations are so perfect and also is the designs of everything! I simply can't stop looking at the buildings' interiors and the little people doing their things. From now i can't complain. The only thing I would like is seeing people on places like Lakeside or Forest plains everytime and not only while on minigames. Congrats to the developers, truly. ♥

A high-quality town-building game great for relaxation, but also a port of a MR game made for the Quest standalone hmds. The VR version contains new 3D environments, which have been beautifully designed. Depending on your home, the VR experience may be a lot nicer than the MR version. That said the new 3D environments have close to no interactivity, as you cannot pick up anything - not even a cup on a table. It would have been a nice touch being able to pick up items for better realism and immersion. The game has been greatly enhanced for PCVR with realtime lighting, dynamic shadows, high-res textures and much more. The game is rather demanding, and performs about the same as Kayak VR Mirage maxed out on my rig. The game gets more demanding as the wall town grows. I started with Index res 300% with no motion smoothing in 80 Hz, but had to reduce to res 250% later to maintain 80 fps. I'm using an oc'ed RTX 3090, i9 10900K, 32GB ram and Win10 - and the Valve Index. Btw, it might show the Quest origin, as there are no graphics settings in the game. This game is incredibly buggy and frustrating. For the third time now I've tried to make it thru the tutorial. The people just yeet themselves off the ledge and they fall thru the Earth. If they don't fall thru they just stand there and you can't pick them up again. Bad mechanics, extremely frustrating 1/10.
