Azimech

"Azimech" is a mediocre student project from Objectif3D, this time it seems like they made a top down multiplayer console ARPG style game but released it on Steam instead of consoles. You can't even play this with KB+M, you have to use a console peasant children's toy. This is not okay. The instructors quite simply taught the students badly here. PC gamers are not console peasants. This ain't hard. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. You cannot play this without a console peasant children's toy. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. Not every "free" game really is. …

A student made game from "Objectif 3D", the game designer training school in France, specialty in training students to make games using Unreal Engines. This is yet another unreal engine showcase, and this one is near just a concept prototype and can't be considered a finished game. Can't really tell if it's the game engine that's great or the students that made the game is great here. Nothing much to show other than bare bone design.

// Azimech Graphics are definitely HD (not 4K)... but they look surprisingly good. On Steam "controllers not supported" -- but worked fine once I changed the controls to Gamepad. On menus, must use [RS in] (instead of [A]). Basically -- just use mouse instead. WARNING: Sometimes, when leaving the game (going to a menu, or ALT + TAB) -- upon returning, one of the players turns to keyboard controls, and can't get controller back without restarting. Return to Main Menu > Continue (this will fix it). <CONTROLS> [LT] Dash [RT] Shoot [RT] + [D Up] or [RT] + [D Dn] Player creates a fusion circle, and if other players steps into the circle and does the same, they fuse into one giant player. [I was able to play with an Xbox Core Controller + an 8BitDo Pro 2.]

[h1]Before I played Azimech, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]
