BACKFIRE

I played this game on my phone, and i loved it. Something about just resonates in me, and when i found out that it will be remastered for PC, i was really excited. Now i fully completed it, and it was 100% worth it. Game is buggy, but everything critical is already fixed, or will be fixed in no time. I love this game

This was a fun little Shoooter . It does take a bit of skill to aim and move correctly but once ya got it your set. Its not something i could play for long period just cuz my hand cramps up a bit but I had a good time.

A very polished experience which has a ton of depth in how different the weapons are. And weapons doesn't just mean how you attack, as all of them affect the way you move significantly. The pacing and variety of enemy waves is really solid creating a lot of tense and unique moments. The depth of controls give the game a very high skill ceiling for those looking for a punishing challenge, but the deaths never feel cheap or unfair. And there's cool bosses and events for those who want to play on an easier setting. Also the rogue-lite style upgrades let you can upgrade after every death. All in all a I think it's excellent in it's game design, with a well executed aesthetic to boot.

This game is dangerously addictive, I've lost hours playing just the demo alone and I can see myself loosing quite a bit more with the full game. Lots of fun and challenging, but not terribly punishing. I'd recommend it for a quick arcade type game that has an interesting spin on a core arcade space shooter mechanic.

Fun little shooter. Graphics are simple but good - got that retro CRT vibe while also clearly communicating the different enemies, weapons, etc. I liked the little details when the enemies were defeated. I enjoyed playing over and over again and trying to do better! I played on controller and it worked really well. Had a lot of fun playing! If you're looking for something short and sweet, but with a lot of replayability with the endless mode give this a look!

A really fun take on the arcade shooter genre. The upgrades are pivotal to the gameplay and everyone will probably find their preference. It's not just about unlocking them, but learning their mechanics and mastering how they work.
