Backrooms: Steps into the abyss

LIterally the worst backrooms game ever made. Asked for refund for 72 cents out of spite.

I have no idea how a single person gave this game a positive review. I have a 4080 super and I was getting nearly 10 frames. Not a single thing happened as I ran around the entire time, I did not see a single enemy or objective while playing slide show simulator. There is no tension or no fear or joy, just the thought of spending a dollar on this as you walk alone down empty hallways.

The map is huge and there's no objectives. There's no indication where you need to go. I read there's a door somewhere? Me and my friends spent 20+ minutes running around and found nothing. The monster seems to be a generic model completely black that just runs at you, and you cannot get away from it unless you have tons of water, as it runs pretty much at your speed. There are no options for controls in the main menu, and you cannot rebind controls. These problems are common with pretty much every game from this developer, who is just pumping out this slop.

Pretty much unplayable, frames are so bad!

Players explore an empty building filled with fear-inducing elements. The lack of interior design leaves the environment feeling empty. Despite this, it's a decent game for a short playthrough, though more variety in maps and interiors would be appreciated. If you enjoy survival horror and navigating through abandoned buildings, this game may be right up your alley for a few evenings of gameplay.
