To create an even larger and more connected player base, cross-platform multiplayer has been expanded to include cross-generation matchmaking in Pennant Race† and Online Leagues, so players can hit dingers with friends online across even more game systems.

If you're looking for a baseball game that strikes a balance between modern features and old-school fun, Super Mega Baseball 4 absolutely delivers. It keeps the classic "pick up and play" arcade-style gameplay that made older baseball games so enjoyable, while adding enough depth to keep you coming back. One of my favorite additions is the inclusion of former real-life baseball players. It adds a nice touch of nostalgia without taking away from the series' unique identity. The Franchise mode is also excellent and gives you plenty to do if you enjoy building and managing a team over multiple seasons. The standout feature for me, though, is the Ego difficulty system. Being able to fine-tune the difficulty anywhere from 1 to 100 lets you create the perfect challenge, whether you're a casual player or a seasoned veteran. Overall, this is one of the best baseball games available if you want something that's easy to jump into but still offers plenty of depth. Highly recommended. I hope they make a new one in the future!

Really awesome game that I slept on for years. I always wanted something like MLB the Show for PC, but there was nothing out there. Decided to finally get it and I was blown away by how great of a game this is. The progression and skill system is wonderful. Easily the best baseball game on PC that isn't a simulator. I love that there are different rosters you can import and use. I love making a franchise and having everyone draft random MLB players. There is also a lot of humor in this game. 10/10.
