About Bacteria Wars
Command your Bacteria in a war against the Cell Defense Force! Invade their territory, conquer their bases, and turn their own footholds against them in a world where your Units are your only resource! Fight battles across the a variety of unique maps where attacks could come from any direction, and know that any battle could be the difference between victory and death!
Oh, but it's not just mighty CDF you have to worry about. You must hold your ground against the armies of your fellow Bacteria, watch your back during the Late-Game event, and pray it isn't the Zombie Cell option that you selected!
Victory is therefore not likely to be achieved by simply throwing your units – your precious resources – at the enemy!

Bacteria Wars is an Abandoned Early Access 2D retro pixel RTS where you control a bunch of cells and you have to fight off bacteria in small, simple maps. The game was deeply in development hell and hasn't been updated in over 3 months, so at this stage it's safe to say it's abandoned and will never be completed. Due to defects in the core game design, it's unplayable. A choice was made to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution is locked and can't be changed, and there's no visual or graphics tweaks, so there's no way to improve the very lazy, mediocre visuals. Even worse, the game ignores resolution settings and just displays as a blurry upscaled mess... and it displays in a locked 4:3 aspect ratio (but renders outside the pillarbox, so some elements of the game cannot be seen!). This defect means the game won't actually start, it's broken and unplayable. This will be a mystery to most, because nobody knows about this game. Comically, the game only ever had one person log on at any time…8 found this helpful
