Honestly, I'm really enjoying this game, but there are a few things that need some work. Like, sometimes the platforming can be a bit wonky. You'll be like, "Okay, I'm on the ground," but your character's still floating in mid-air. And the controls can feel super stiff, when you're trying to catch those bad guys. Plus, it gets a bit repetitive after a while, even with the different locations and all. But, despite all that, the game's got some really cool ideas, and it's not just about smashing everything in sight, you've gotta think strategically to catch those baddies. Hopefully the devs will sort these issues out soon!4 found this helpful
Bail Force is a really challenging (and extremely fun) game with an open ended weapon and strategy options. It reminds me of "Edge of Tomorrow" (2014) a.k.a "Live. Die. Repeat..." where you will respawn everytime you die and have to come up with a new weapon and/or strategy to be used in the next cycle until you beat the boss. The enemies are hard to beat at first, but after you find "the flow", you will get them eventually. Anyway, at the time of writing this review, I have only beaten the first boss. so this is my quick review after playing for around an hour pros : - fun combat loop, like the way the melee attack land on the enemies or fire when you need to avoid the them. - cool music, tbh some of the music like in the lobby is my jam - 2 characters as small variety to the gameplay with small differences - casual gameplay but not that easy, the enemies are challenging in a good way - like the humor and sarcasm-ish dialogues cons : - bad music and sound effect mixing when in the gameplay, need to slower the sfx sound first before i'm comfortable playing, some of the sfx are too loud than the others - minor bugs i found my character walk in the air with no platform XD. also i found when the "enemy clear" UI displayed and my character in the middle of toxic gas the health keep decreasing and make me dead even though i clear the enemies. - i know that the gameplay is more fast paced, but i can't counterbalance the movement of the projectile of the enemies especially the boss fight, they seem not in some kind of rhythm perhaps or it's just me (maybe the developer can add some UI to anticipate an attack from the boss at least it help the player to move fast and think strategica…1 found this helpful
I like how simple and nostalgic the graphic is, and to my surprise, the game mechanics are quite challenging. Not what I would have expected at the start. This game has potentials.
The game has some potential. Thoughs need to be polish at some part like enemy balancing and item drops but it's a good game by overall. If you like rougelike games,give it a shot!
