Ball Chasers is a silly little football game that throws normal football rules out of the window and replaces them with characters that can kick, tackle, dash and use ridiculous abilities. I am playing short 2v2 matches where the main goal is simply to get three points before the other team. It is much more of a party brawler than a serious football game, and I think that is important because the whole thing is built around chaos rather than realistic football. The part I like most is how much the character abilities change what is happening on the pitch. I am not just running around trying to kick the ball normally. I can use abilities to interfere with the other side, move around quickly or create opportunities that would not really exist in a normal football game. The small teams also keep things fairly easy to follow because there are only four people involved in each match. I like that the basic objective stays simple even when everything around it gets completely ridiculous. The maps help with that as well. The game is designed around unusual arenas rather than traditional football pitches, so the environment becomes part of the chaos. I have to pay attention to where the b…
