For the last few years, the Blue Mountain Bandits High School Marching Band has suffered from inconsistent directorship. Students are dropping out, scores and morale are at an all-time low, and the school doesn’t give the music program the respect it deserves.
Determined to turn everything around, Cadence enters her junior year as the band’s drum major, alongside brand new band director and Blue Mountain alum, Mr. Victor Wiley. Whipping the band into competition shape is easier said than done, but Cadence and Wiley have the drive and optimism to see the task through. To focus solely on perfecting this year’s field show, the band leaves behind society to spend two weeks at Camp Bearpaw, a sports compound located amidst the woodsy Pennsylvania countryside. It’s the perfect place to kindle friendships, make memories, grow as a leader, and perhaps even find love in between rehearsals...
However, band camp isn’t going to be easy. All choices carry weight and unexplained happenings wait in the wings of the camp. Will Cadence lead her classmates to victory--or watch the entire band fall apart around her?

This game is racist. It's giving I date black people so I'm not though. Otherwise, it's set up with the mentality of a 13 year old. I'm unsure if the person who made this is a child but it certainly seems like it. It's good if they are, but they want to work on how they see the world around them and either read A LOT or go out there an experience life.1 found this helpful

This one time at band camp...
The fact you're looking at this means you should buy this
I spent the last three hours of the game thinking of how exactly to write this review. I normally review books, not games, so forgive me if this focuses more heavily on the narrative than the digital elements. For me, the focus tends to be more on how things make me feel. Band Camp Boyfriend, while it dragged a bit at times, brought me immense joy. I'm not sure how long I spent playing it as my playtime glitched and stopped at 23.9 hours, but I'm willing to bet it was between 70 and 100 hours over the course of five months because I left the speed on auto so I could fully enjoy the game without rushing through it. It would probably be a lot quicker if you just read it at your own pace, but unfortantely there is no way to speed up the automatic text so you would have to click on by hand. Band Camp Boyfriend ultimately felt like a love letter to high school marching band. We do not have marching band where I grew up in Canada, but we do have concert band. I played the clarinet for five years and thoroughly enjoyed it. I sold my clarinet around the time I turned 18 and didn't really regret it until I started playing this visual novel and remembered just how important it was to me as…
