- Jax: Dancer and chaotic womanizer with a huge ego and a knack for causing problems.
- Tyler: Producer and leader under a lot of stress. He might snap and do something unexpected.
- Niko: Singer and a bit of a weirdo. He has a thing for conspiracy theories.
- Caleb: A recent addition to the group. Bubbly, sweet, and never picks a fight. Watch out for hͪ҉͈̣̗ǐ͐͆s̷̊ͅ ̆̔̍mͮ̊̔o̷̟ͩm̶ͥͧ,̎̾̑ ̆ͮ̚t̬ͮ͠hͣ͋̾o̸̿̐u͌̀̿g͇̽͝hͭ́͒.̎͏̠

Replay Boys is a charming visual novel that impresses players with its attractive visuals, excellent soundtrack, and engaging main plot featuring an interesting time loop mechanic. While most appreciate the fun characters and solid writing, some find certain characters initially unlikeable, and several note that the romance routes feel somewhat thin with repetitive scenes, though the shorter length and high replay value through achievements appeal to many players.
It's a neutral review as I have mixed feelings about this game. What I enjoyed: + Visually it's a very pleasing game <3 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3735104206 + Music is great, I rarely enjoy it in my games & just either turn it off or set as quiet as possible not to be distracted from the story but here it's perfect! + The main plot, though being kinda ridiculous & unrealistic, felt exciting & engaging. I really enjoyed it sometimes. A couple of twists surprised me, so I find the overall experience quite positive. +There is a cat <3 and my first choice was actually to say no to the whole world and spend time with my gorgeous kitty, the best decision ever :D +There are achievements and they count \o/ so plus one perfect game for a steam collection! What I wish were different: --I need more save slots T_T One page is seriously not enough :( I don't get it why the devs are often so stingy about them :(( Is it really so hard to provide your players with an opportunity to save before every choice, ideally plus a tad more. At one point I felt so annoyed with constant overwriting & soon all the saves became a mess, so I gave up & used a guid…16 found this helpful
An endless time loop and a ghost?

Introduction
REPLAY BOYS is an otome visual novel developed and published by Split Narrative Inc. You take on the role of Hannah, a video editor who's in charge of editing videos for The Replay Boys, a boy band who's growing in popularity. Hannah is supposed to have the day off from work, but then her friend and manager for the The Replay Boys texts Hannah, begging her to be a stand-in manager for the day, as her friend and other staff members from the record company have food poisoning. What can Hannah do? Should she help out, knowing that she's under no work obligation to do so? As for the gameplay, it consists of choices presented throughout the story. Certain decisions will raise Hannah's favorability with members of The Replay Boys: Jax (the rebel), Tyler (the leader), Niko (best singer who's into conspiracy theories), and Caleb (the newest member who's sweet and kind). Also, some choices will lead to particular endings. Since I bring it up, there are two bad endings, three romance endings, and one platonic/group friendship ending. Right off the bat, I'll just say that Caleb's route is the only one that does…14 found this helpful
Hitting all the right notes
I don't follow pop music. Boy bands? No thanks. Give me a denim-clad, long haired, raspy voiced rocker with a loud guitar and an equally loud scream any day. Now you're talking. The relevance of that opening line is that I am, in theory, not a part of the target audience for this game. Which serves to make it all the more impressive that (once I figured out how the story was setting up) I loved every minute of it.
Story
Hannah, our MC, is a remote working digital doctor for the latest big thing to hit the popular music scene, The Replay Boys, a group of three young men who appeared to have really hit the big time when their small independent record label was bought out by the larger Sovereign Records, who saw fit to add a new, even younger member to their ranks. The band are due to play their first arena concert the day following where the story begins, and Hannah is the only employee of the company who has not attended a meal out which has resulted in all of the other staff becoming sick from food poisoning, and which results in receiving a text asking her to perform as stand-in band manager for the day, which …7 found this helpful
The characters are so unlikeable from the get go that I could not fathom the idea of enjoying them later. The art is good, but that's not enough to make me want to pick up the game again1 found this helpful
Very interesting game. Not what I was expecting going into this, safe to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Would recommend!
Wonderful vn. it took 2.4 hours to 100% it (im a very fast reader) and i enjoyed every minute. it was a bit shorter than i usually go for, but i really loved the cast, niko is my favorite. the routes aren't very big so you just watch (or skip) the same scenes you've watched again, which is a downside if you want thorough character routes. it def feels more characters were afterthoughts than others. The music and writing are very very good though. Overall, a single thumbs up from me. could be better, could be much worse.
