About BAROQUE ~ Become a Meta-Being ~ Revive
"BAROQUE Become a Meta-Being" returns—now more powerful than ever!
■ Game Overview
In this game, you play as Grue, one of the minor enemies that appear in BAROQUE.Use jumps and quick movements in all directions to see how far you can progress through the dungeon known as the Neuro Tower. Will you take cautious steps forward, or leap boldly ahead? With simple controls, anyone can enjoy the challenge. You’ll also encounter many familiar characters from the original game, such as Moon and Kato.By using the rewards you earn based on the distance you travel, you can obtain various types of Grue, such as the "Muscle Grue" and the "Jellyfish Grue." You can also change your appearance to the Grue you’ve obtained and play as them.■ New Features
In addition to the Original Mode, where you test how far you can go without making a mistake, a brand-new Countdown Mode has been added. In this mode, the challenge is to see how far you can go within 60 seconds. You can revive as many times as you want during the time limit, and the rewards you earn differ from those in Original Mode. You can compete with players nationwide in the rankings by comparing your number of deaths and the max distance reached in each mode.A new camera option, Another View, has also been added—switch from the top-down Normal View to a dynamic, close-up perspective from behind Grue for a more immersive experience.Other improvements include interface adjustments and the ability to restart instantly with a single button press, making the game smoother and more enjoyable to play. What Steam players say

This Game is an extremely weird Frogger Clone with Gatcha Elements..... but strangely enough i do NOT hate it, since i don´t have to pay for the Gatcha Element. Just keep playing until you got the Grues you needed.... I would have much prefered the Saturn or PS2 Variant of Baroque, but this Spin off is actually fun for the price point it has now. + contains Melodies i reconize from the Wii/PS2 version of Baroque + Logneck and other familiar Characters are back as waymarkers 8/10 Fun Factor for a relatively cheap Game.1 found this helpful
Pretty bizarre that we got a port of BAROQUE frogger before the original Saturn or Wii remake, but a fun spin-off nonetheless.1 found this helpful
im baroque-ing out hard to this one1 found this helpful
im just going to be nice because it's baroque even though i wouldn't actually recommend this to anyone. but i did just want to say why are the controls so laggy? there is literally a half second before my grue moves after i hit a button and it was like this in the mobile version too. regardless i like the many ways they reskinned the grues and that's about it. also go to settings > turn off effects. you can see so much more this way especially the katos when they roll in.1 found this helpful
I've never really played these "Frogger" type games but I find it quite fun! Now I can't see this game being that great for someone that isn't a fan of Baroque, but if you are give it a try, at the very least you support Sting. (PS: Please put Baroque (1998) and Baroque (2007) on Steam!!)1 found this helpful
