About Battle Bears 1: Zombies

Battle Bears 1: Zombies, the first of the BB trilogy games, is a wave-based shooter that stars OLIVER, a teddy bear stuck behind enemy lines who must fight off unending waves of pink and deadly bears, strange flying mares, and of course, ZOMBIES! Load up your guns, grab your unicorn horns, and fortify your sandbags as your childhood nostalgia is back on PC!

EASY TO PLAY: Move the mouse to aim and left click to fire.

SILLY CUTSCENES: Enjoy the original cutscenes and relive the old wacky story of Oliver and the Mystical Treasures.

BIZARRE BOSSES: Your old foes are back and as odd as ever! They're big, they're bad, and some of them have quite a nice acapella voice!

Top 100 iPhone Games of 2009 - iLounge.com (it's JUST a port of the original game with pc mouse controls. it is very much not made for pc. it's way easier because of the fact that you have a mouse, you can be sooo much more accurate. but if you are just wanting to play the game and played it a million years ago? this is the game. enjoy. it's so much of the original release that it has buttons in the menu that lead to a dead separate game in the series. it's so funny)

Yes there's nostalgia to be had, but this is not good at all lmao. Directly ripped from the iPhone with expired baked-in ads, pretty jank controls, extremely boring gameplay, and a handful of glitches. Bought it on sale for 89 cents and I'm not even sure if that's justifiable. It's a shame because I've always wanted to see Battle Bears content hit PC/console, but I always pictured it as some in-depth remastered content, or an entirely new game dedicated to PC/console gameplay. I sure hope the team has more up their sleeve and is able to cook up a modern day version of Battle Bears Zombies, or something similar to Battle Bears Gold with a multiplayer versus focus.

Plays like it did on my old iPod touch 2. Fun little wave survival game from 2009 that plays kinda like a flash game from that time. It's only got a little under an hour of content but given it's $3, it kinda makes sense. I'd say to try it, but keep in mind it's short, and there really isn't a lot of depth to it even compared to other wave survival flash games of the time.

helllll yeah i played the frick out of this game on my ipod touch as a kid the controls work a bit ♥♥♥♥ ngl but it is still playable at the end of the day (I completed main story with keyboard and mouse) still none of that matters because the only reason to buy this game is for that sweet hit of nostalgia pretty fun still even after all these years : )
