About Battle for the Crystals
As the last hope for Sylvanthal, you embark on the Battle for the Crystals. Although it may sometimes seem like the odds are against you, by utilizing the behavior of the enemy creeps and by commanding your troops effectively, you can outmaneuver even the largest enemy forces. Will you make it to the final battle against the dark Dragon Lord?

Battle for the Crystals is a casual game, yet the various battlefields can be quite challenging. If you are looking for a game that holds your hand, this isn't it. Inspired by the unforgiving SNES games from back in the days, Battle for the Crystals is a game where players are challenged to experiment with different tactics on the battlefield and learn from their mistakes. There is a level based campaign mode and an endless survival mode with a wave system. Both come with three difficulty settings.

Take direct control of a powerful hero. Manoeuvre yourself strategically on the battlefield, dodge incoming missiles and cast the best spells to defeat the dreadful creeps.

Command your troops and slay enemy creeps to fill the reinforcement meter and summon game-changing allies that can tip the scales in your favor.

Learn from your mistakes and retry the most challenging battlefields. Earned coins can be used between levels to elevate your hero's prowess by leveling up your stats.

STARTING TIPS
- Try out different tactics. Don't be afraid to choose the offense, manoeuvre yourself behind enemy lines or lure creeps away from your obelisks.
- Most of the time it is best to collect your spells as soon as possible, even when they are close to the enemy portals.
- Experiment with different builds.
- Luring enemies away from your portals can give you more time to gather ally forces and power up.
- Explore a battlefield to find the location of the spells.

Fun game, I enjoy it. I recommend it for it's price. It's simple and I like the soldier commands.2 found this helpful
As an idea, the game is not badly made, but it is badly balanced. The enemy always has the upper hand and always strikes with great force and immediately. You are a one two hit life mage and you barely do damage and take out troops. You can only restart the level and what you bought from the previous level and it is always small, like choice or power and very expensive 15 then 30 coins and up only for the first upgrades 45 60. You should be able to collect coins from your mistakes and use them in more useful upgrades, but you can't. Or to grind only on one level and long enough to have any effect. Otherwise, you won't get far and have to start all over again. Your soldiers don't have upgrades either, and the enemy gets stronger and bigger with each new level. And this is only on the first level of difficulty. The tactic is pointless and you should just hold out long enough to defeat him with more soldiers. There is also an option to survive a large level, without a minimap it is difficult to manage. The game description how to play the game in the store does not apply to this game. I wouldn't recommend this game looks more like early access.1 found this helpful
