Beach Bounce is an anime-inspired visual novel developed and published by Dharker Studios, a developer known for producing a variety of lighthearted romantic visual novels that often mix comedy, slice-of-life storytelling, and fan-service elements. Released on Steam in 2015, the game places players in the role of a young man spending his summer at a tropical beach resort, where a series of encounters with several women gradually develops into a branching romantic story. Built with the Ren’Py engine and designed around traditional visual novel mechanics, Beach Bounce focuses primarily on dialogue, character interactions, and player decisions that determine which romantic storyline unfolds. The story follows the protagonist, Tomoyo, who travels to a coastal resort to visit relatives and spend a relaxing summer by the sea. What begins as a casual vacation quickly evolves into a series of unexpected social situations as he meets several women connected to the resort. Some work at the beach facility, while others are frequent visitors or acquaintances tied to the area. As Tomoyo settles into his temporary home by the ocean, he gradually becomes involved in the lives of these characters…
Weird, But I Don't Mind
Beach Bounce has you in the role of Tomoyo, who, after his grandma becomes sick, is sent to her business, aptly named, Beach Bounce, to help out in her place. Upon arriving, he discovers, that all of the staff, are bodacious beach babes! He's struck a gold mine! The plot basically revolves around you pursuing one
or multiple
of the girls, going down their routes to get their endings, with a few special girls in between, that are a bit out of place, in a story like this, but honestly, I'm easy to please when it comes to visual novels, so I hardly mind. Although the game is relatively short and has very quick pacing, it does have some enjoyable moments, the music is pleasant, and I guess I like the characters as well, so I suppose I'll recommend it.
Nope!
