Beat Hazard 3

in practice, this game is just beat hazard 2 except more, but i can't really think of why this game in particular had to resort to ai generated assets when the previous games had completely fine artwork that worked even with the procgen in bh2. i also can't get over how there isn't one good reason not to disclose the use of ai in the store page. beat hazard arcade doesn't look any better either in that regard, so that sucks to say the least the switch to 3d models for enemies and ships also sucks. they dont look good (and they also look ai generated but dont quote me on that because im not sure) and they make it impossible to make custom ships. it really wasnt worth it. just stick to bh2 in general

Best Beat Hazard Yet! Skip the other 2 unless youre a hardcore fan. This one includes all modes and all tracks from the previous games.

Just buy Beat Hazard 2, it's a much better experience. My biggest complaint with this one was not having workshop support. Most of my other complaints with this are just as big though. First being enemy attacks are way harder to see than they are in BH2, this one all the enemy attacks just blend in with the environment. Unlike with 2 where enemy attacks were visible even if the screen was completely whited out. Which brings me to my second complaint, the visualizer. Even at 300% it is not the seizure inducing color vomit from the 2nd game, which is my favorite feature of 2 along with the workshop support. This game just doesn't have the same brightness and color assault, which just makes this just bland. The new upgrade system and dark beam weapon was also unnecessary, the dark beam weapon is just annoying and the new upgrades just seem more convoluted than they needed to be. Also in powerup pickups are too small. I may pick this back up if it ever goes on sale for 75%+ off.

Honestly, I love the beat hazard series as a whole, but I feel that the next turn should be something similar to how Everspace 2 "looks," but with beat hazard style gameplay. That would definitely be a game changer and a cool approach to immersion. Either way, I appreciate bro for giving us 3 bangers. I've been into these games and loving them since High school. Amazing work and you deserve every dollar.

Oh wow, how is it that this game is a laggy unplayable mess at all graphic settings? Tried my own music and also the open mic feature, and the game just cannot perform at all. Is it a reliance on PhysX 32-bit? Really surprised.

I've loved this game since it came out on the iPhone years ago. Want a peak experience? Set it to Open Mic, Play Ken Carson - EDM and put it on Repeat. Then put it on survival at 300% Intensity and brace yourself for an experience.
