Charming animations and sound design. The game has a very steep learning curve - It takes A LOT OF trials & errors to figure out how to play this "right", but once you do, the game becomes incredibly fun. I'd say the game's biggest flaw is that early on, there is far too much downtime, and not nearly enough gameplay variety. The progression between runs felt great, but until further meta-level progressions are reached, all of your runs are doomed to fail. The game can often feel overly punishing and RNG-dependent as a result. But again - Once you've unlocked a good amount of things, the possibilities become endless, and there can be a lot of varieties between each run.1 found this helpful
Beaver TD is genuinely an exciting and compelling game. The core gameplay loop is addictive; I was completely engrossed, constantly forced to adapt and find optimal build strategies with my limited coin supply and the random nature of the construction cards. I did notice one area that could use polish: the in-game clarity is lacking when crafting or summoning new build cards. The game could do a better job of clearly displaying the specific information about the cards you've collected or are about to receive. However, the sheer enjoyment speaks for itself. When I first started, I lost track of time and played for over two consecutive hours just to clear Level 20. It's a truly crazy level of engagement! I sincerely hope the developers are listening and will consider an adjustment to the visual presentation when players acquire or discover new build cards, as this small refinement would significantly enhance the overall quality-of-life experience
the only good point of the game is the graphics look pretty good, the rest is like an unfinished game. the tutorial is too long unnecessarily, just forcing the player to play 1 wave is enough. next the UI is too big compared to the overall screen, in the skill upgrade screen I can't even see anything, it's like the UI was designed for the phone and then copied to the computer. when playing there is no restart button, why, there is no pause button too, it's weird. devs of this game, can you improve :| - add window mode, - reduce the UI ratio, now all UI is too big - add pause buttons while playing - add story mode
