BEETLE HUNTER is a simple first-person shooter. Beat various ferocious enemies, collect powerful weapons, explore the randomly generated complex steampunk stage, aim for the top floor and hunt the mighty beetle!

Save
- It has AUTOSAVE and PAUSESAVE.
- When you continue from the game over, AUTOSAVE data will be used.
- PAUSESAVE will be deleted when you load it.
- You cannot use AUTOSAVE in hard mode.

- PISTOL with no limitation bullet
- ASSAULT RIFLE with continuous fire
- LASER GUN with penetration possible
- SHOTGUN for a short distance
- Powerful ROCKET LAUNCHER
Item
- HEAL restores HP.
- GRENADE attacks multiple enemies and destroys wires and rocks that block the way.
- FREEZE stops the enemies for a moment.
- WEAPON PLUS upgrades the weapon you are using.
- GEMs make you stronger.

Difficulty
- There are two types of difficulty, NORMAL and HARD.
- In NORMAL mode, you can resume from AUTOSAVE even if you are killed.
- When you are killed in HARD mode, it ends there.

"Beetle Hunter" is either a student project or an asset flip or something... the assets look a bit too good compared to the quality of the game, well, more on that later. What's it about? This is a pretty simple kind of "boomer shooter" thing with a small array of guns, a small array of enemies, some procgen thrown in... it's a bit of an incoherent mess. And why do we want to play this? It's not completely certain. Since the controls can't be customized, this makes the game inaccessible for a wide range of gamers, including those who are left-handed, have physical impairments, or use international keyboard layouts. Developers have a responsibility to ensure gamers can customise their experience with the game. The game assets here look a lot better than the actual game they're assembled on... that doesn't mean this is necessarily an asset flip or a kitbash, because there's no proof. But what matters is that this has all the same terrible quality as asset flips, and at the end of the day that's one of the reasons people don't like asset flips, the quality is bad. it's a funny game idea but gets a bit clueless on what to do after playing for 20 minutes.. and yeah its cool to kill insects and bugs ig..
i found this game while looking for free games because i don't have much money and showed it to others as a joke but we all really like it, this game is oddly relaxing between me getting jump scared by the bugs apearing behind me, but this game is great. please add more floors or maybe different game modes or something, idk just great game 10/10 would recommend to anybody looking for a good game
