Before I Go

Loved the demo, got it on release, really enjoyed this game. Checks all the boxes for my MV taste. Upgrades progression, satisfying exploration, sweet platforming sequences, moderate difficulty. Do recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Movement/controls are absolutely top tier, you clearly know what you're doing there. Realllllly wish we could have had more game time with some of the abilities though (ex: had up-dash for like 10 minutes before finishing the game, and that ability feels so damn good it's a shame).

It's a fun game, give it a try. I fell in love as soon as I played the demo. Challenging at times, but fair. Great sountrack (even though a little repetitive) and melancholic theme and vibe. I wish it had ultrawide support, but that's a nitpick. The difficulty lies in the platforming here, not the bosses, and that's refreshing. Good little Metroidvania. I wish there was a sequel.

As others have stated, the controls are pitch-perfect. It's never too much of a mystery where to go next due to the smaller scope of the world and good map design. Not as hard as people claim but provides a decent challenge. I liked the boss fights and platforming gauntlets. Just a lean and economical metroidvania with solid mechanics and weird/interesting NPC designs.

I really like that game. It's a very tight, exigent, but not hard, platformer with a tons of fun mecanisms. On the con side, the artistic direction is pretty forgettable, the boss also are. The world just feels like a big cave (which it is) with very few biomes personalization. It's also pretty linear even if the map is interconnected, you really only have one way to follow. This game excel at what it promise: platforming. It's awesome, and I loved it.

Excellent controls, extremely satisfying platforming and overall joy to play.
