I bought this on sale, but I was skeptical because of the reviews were pretty poor regarding camera and controls. I did find that true on the controller because you use right stick for moving the camera AND zooming, so you got a lot of unexpected and unhelpful camera behavior. However, once I moved to WASD, I found it far easier and very reliable. The isometric view is good, but I can see how people might want to zoom out or angle more. I am REALLY enjoying the game. There's lots to do and build. Based on the screenshots, there's so much more! It reminds me a bit of Aethus, which I really liked. The story seems engaging. The map shows plenty of resources and filtering options. I'm 6 hours , but it hasn't felt grindy (yet?).1 found this helpful
Just dont like it
Achei o jogo interessante de início, mas do meio pro fim é um grind insuportável, e o final progressivamente mais difícil e repetitivo. Sem acrescentar nenhum conteúdo novo. Lá pelo dia 80, eu não conseguia progredir em mais nada no jogo a não ser reconstruir a minha base para que ela sobrevivesse a um próximo raid. Não cheguei no final do jogo porque não tinha os materiais necessários para reconstruir a minha base, e para reconstruir eu precisava farmar as mesmas coisas o tempo inteiro. (jogando no modo difícil) Não curti. :(
I really liked this game, till mid way through i was not able to resolve an issue with one of the quests. I had to restart, but got through and it was good. Force Field Inverter is not able to be built, if you already built it, died and lost it.
Probably the first time I've recommended abandonware, but this is a reasonably well designed survival crafter with a satisfying progression. Not particularly expensive from a content standpoint, but could recommend waiting for a sale if it doesn't speak to you immediately.
THE GOOD The concept is good. The story line is good. THE BAD When mining or killing monsters, 5-10 items will drop. You have to pick up EACH and every item individually. This is a pain if there is a ton of them. It would be nice to have an auto pick up. I spent hours and hours building a base, only to have it destroyed in 5 minutes by a meteor shower. There goes all the resource collection gone, after 2-3 days of playing. I am glad I only paid 3.50$ for this when it was on sale.
