BiColor Vision Trainer is a game-based application created to support lazy eye therapy through structured visual training at home.It is designed for both lazy eye in children and lazy eye in adults, focusing on binocular vision, eye coordination, and balanced visual processing. The app offers interactive lazy eye exercises at home, helping users stay consistent with training in a familiar and comfortable environment.
BiColor can be used as a complementary tool alongside vision therapy for lazy eye recommended by an eye care professional.
🧠 What Is BiColor?
BiColor transforms traditional lazy eye exercises into short, engaging mini-games.Instead of repetitive clinical tasks, users train visual coordination through interactive gameplay while wearing anaglyph glasses. Each eye receives a separate visual signal, encouraging the brain to combine both inputs more effectively.
This approach is commonly used in lazy eye treatment, binocular vision training, and modern amblyopia rehabilitation.BiColor is suitable for:
- Lazy eye games for kids and family-guided practice
- Home-based support for amblyopia in children
- Visual training for adults exploring whether improvement is still possible later in life
BiColor is designed around these game-based training principles.
🔴🔵 How Anaglyph Glasses Work
Anaglyph glasses use color-filtered lenses:- One eye perceives red elements
- The other eye perceives blue elements
This encourages binocular fusion, eye teaming, and visual coordination — key elements of lazy eye therapy and adult amblyopia treatment.

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise this vision therapy application for addressing a specific and underserved medical need, with heartfelt testimonials about how it's helping people work toward serious goals like military pilot certification. The main complaint is limited customization options—users want the ability to adjust difficulty settings like balloon size and count or skip early game levels, since progression feels slow as their vision improves and they outgrow the easier modes before hitting appropriate challenge levels.
Thank you for making this game/application! I've had Amblyopia & Strabismus since I was 5. It was improperly treated, leaving me with glasses and 95% of my vision coming from my right eye. And no Binocular depth perception. I've recently enlisted into the Navy, and was denied to be a pilot due to my lack of binocular depth perception. Even though my Spatial awareness is above average. Vision therapy is my only hope to pass that depth perception test. And it is expensive! I'm so lucky that you released this game when you did! Applications like yours will help me train my eye to be able to achieve my dreams of becoming a pilot! You give me hope for the future! Thank you! The world needs more people like you! Thank you!7 found this helpful
This is nice even for something aimed at someone with a visual impairment. Aiming it at a very specific problem is brave. Accessibility wise you can change the background colour and select you can select your dominant eye and that's it. Three games to play which my daughter had fun with. The games were , however, beyond me. My advice is to read the review and if you feel it would benefit you then give it a go. The dev is brave aiming at such a specific condition but if this helps but one person improve then their work has been worth it. On this basis I'll recommend.4 found this helpful
There are only 4-5 games to play, which all are repetitive.
I have found this app to be really helpful when used along with the exercises my vision therapist prescribed. I do wish there were more settings, though. For example, on the balloon game, it would be nice if I didn't have to start on the easiest mode every time. As my vision improves, it feels like I have to play seven or more minutes before it becomes work, then just as it becomes challenging, the game times out and it's over. It would be better if I could set the number of balloons and/or the size to start out the game. Otherwise, the app is great and I have found it has really helped me a lot.
