“Big Blue – Memory” is a VR adventure game created with the motif of the Sewol Ferry Disaster, a tragic event that was caused by the structural problems of the Korean society.
The game is packed with symbolic objects and metaphors that will stimulate your emotions. It also allows you to meet a majestic and realistic ocean you have yet to experience in existing VRs.

Chapter 1. People who haven’t returned.
This is a story about meeting the missing people who have yet to return after the disaster.

Chapter 2. Great power.
This tells the story about the surveillance and control exercised by power, and the death of the victims.

Chapter 3. Abandoned.
This tells the story of the difficult fight of the lonely people who have been abandoned by power.

Chapter 4. Pray
We pray for the victims of the disaster.

[h1] Experienced on Oculus Rift with Xbox controller. [/h1] This game is not theBlu and it's not Abzu. So if you're expecting that you will be sorely disappointed, so stop reading and go look at other games. If you're still reading, this game is basically a simple walking simulator ... or is it a swimming simulator? You're a Killer Whale (a small baby one?) in the ocean swimming to overcome some obstacles and reaching balloons to possibly free your ocean friends. The emphasis is not on the racing or obstacle course, but on the zen like trippy visuals around you. When you die, you simply get a prompt that says you died and restart at a nearby checkpoint. For that reason, the game never feels challenging or stressful but just a calm, chill game where you are enjoying the sights and sounds. I think that is what the dev intended. You do need a gamepad to play this game. On Xbox controller, you use direction to move left or right and A to jump and left bumper to dive. The visuals are on the artistic side. You will see a glowing whale floating above the water in the rainy ocean night and you will see balloons and flowers popping over a sunny ocean scene. See my screen shots below. If …
