And since all abilities use cooldowns instead of ammo, there's no need

Tons of unlockable outfits with unique playstyles
Dress up as a Pirate, wielding a flintlock pistol and a cutlass for close-quarters combat. Or maybe dress up as a Magician and keep your
distance, while your deadly bunnies do the work for you. Every outfit in
Billy's Nightmare starts with a unique primary ability and a more
powerful secondary ability.
Fast mounts for exploring
Since you can't run very fast in a nightmare, every outfit in the game comes with its own mount. As long as no nightmare creatures are around,
Billy can use his mount to travel faster.
Friendly combat pets
Fire-breathing dragons, snowball-throwing yetis and barking dogs. Find the Pet Shop and adopt a friendly pet that will help Billy in his nightmare.

1st look This game is criminally unknown. Such a fun, unique game with humor. 2nd look Obvious issues started to pop up after few runs: - off-screen projectiles and enemies - boss projectiles are way too quick - weapons are thematically on point, but in effect not different enough and the abilities and passive items are just boring, 10% this and 10% that won't matter. - no quick travel, in the sense of teleportation through map choice once map is cleared, like in Isaac or Dead Estate. These make the game feel dated, not helped by the graphics, which I personally find charming (but cluttered). I expected a game that could be too easy, or childish, instead I got a game that is unfair and quickly get samey, since each room has 3 waves. 1 wave would be more than enough. There is no variation in the sense that your weapons remain the same throughout the run. The shops offer too little variation, and the items themselves aren't interesting. It looked better. Overall, I would not recommend this game, only on deep discount, if you like roguelikes little variation, off camera kills and bosses with projectiles that are 3-4x quicker than Enter the Gungeon bosses. A good Gungeon-esque or more like Wizard of Legend, difficulty spikes crazy and suffers from some visual clarity issues cause how dense and color rich the environments are, but definitely worth picking up if you're into the genre. The inclusion of mounts to get rid of the annoying part of these games which is backtracking is genius. Also the enemy design is pretty funny and creative.
Decent, but decent with style and charm. Pretty well balanced, beautifully animated, and lots of items/outfit variety too. Good roguelike!
I love this game. I remember back when i used i watch every devlog, waiting for when the game would drop and now that i finally have it. It is even more fun then i thought it would be back when watching the progress of the game being developed. Fun game, thumbs up and recommend.
