great concept, although not in early access, it still feels a bit unfinished? not a lot going on around you, not much diversity in making your character, the controls and inventory management are not great, the villagers are soulless and the dialogues are not interesting. i think with more improvements and adding more things to do, it could be better, but i personally don't recommend playing it in its current state unfortunately.

Bitter Harvest completely won me over. It takes the classic, relaxing loop of a cozy farming and fishing game and hooks you with a narrative where your choices actually impact the outcome. The pixel art is incredibly charming, the town feels alive, and the rival character, Chadwick, is absolutely hilarious and steals every scene he's in. It doesn’t try to be an overwhelming, massive simulator; instead, it focuses on delivering a tight, highly enjoyable, and stress-free experience. If you’re looking for a bite-sized indie title with great personality and a story that gives your daily chores real purpose, this is a must-play.

I wasn't expecting much when I started playing, but this game quickly grew on me. The farming gameplay is simple and relaxing, while the story adds a fun reason to keep going. I liked that your choices actually matter and can lead to different outcomes. The pixel art is charming, the town has personality, and there was always something small to do, whether it was farming, fishing, or talking to villagers. It's not a huge game, but it focuses on being enjoyable, and for me, it succeeded.

As it is now I don't think its worth playing sadly. 1. Character selection is underwhelming and limited. If you are going to have premade models then display them all at once instead of having to scroll back and forth. Allow skin/hair/eye color changes. 2. The "E" to interact popup really only seems to exist for talking to people. I like that once you've talked to someone the option goes away so you don't need to track who you've talked to for the day. But I feel like having it for the trash cans, ore, and items on the ground might be helpful to others. 3. The overall UI leaves much to be desired but the "hotbar" is extremely unhelpful. Offer several slots and a click and drag option. Having to put seeds in your hotbar one at a time is annoying. The gameplay loop is simple yet tedious in its current state. I like that you can toggle the mini games on and off as well as toggle perma run on. I played to the 3rd day. I can't see myself opening the game up again unless there are major changes to basic flow and UI.

Wow this game is so much fun its like stardrew valley but with its own unique twist. It keeps you busy as a trash collector but also doing side request and helping the villagers and planting trees to show you generally want to be a farmer. I really like this game with so much things to do but so little time. YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO MANAGE YOUR DAY PERFECTLY OTHERWISE YOU WILL MISS THE MOST OF THE FUN STUFF. I really like this game its so much polish and really fun to play. Wish it has a more bigger game like this on mobile devices too it would really be popular :)

A simple farming sim with a unique premise. In Bitter Harvest, you have the option to play with integrity or embrace corruption after the farm you were promised is given to a nepo baby. I bought the game on a whim because it sounded like something really unique. And it is. But it needs more content. The core mechanics are good. Empty garbage cans, grow crops, fulfill requests. No complaints. But as others have noted, the days get a little tedious, especially if you’ve met the end game requirements prior to day 31. I found that choices didn’t matter too much even if the game does calculate your integrity/corruption score at the end. I didn’t even realize my choices were being tricked but even knowing that now, I don’t feel like it made any difference. I’ll replay if more content is added but otherwise this is a one and done for me.
