Blameless

Honestly dislike the game. It's just a walking simulator. It makes it seem as if you're supposed to solve a mystery, but you don't actually solve anything. Bad game, boring as hell.

Some stupid ♥♥♥♥ gets himself accused of murder simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Don't ʙʟᴀᴍᴇ me for that. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

Nice little indie horror game. It does a great job of building tension.

Blameless is a compact first-person mystery adventure that demonstrates how an ordinary environment can become disturbing when the player is given just enough information to know that something has gone seriously wrong. Blameless is a short first person mystery adventure that I found much more interesting than I expected for a free game. I play as an architect who arrives at an unfinished house after being invited there for a job, only for things to go badly wrong. I wake up trapped inside and have to work out what happened while trying to find a way out. The whole game only takes around 20 to 60 minutes, so it is not trying to give me some huge horror campaign. It is more like one short story that I can finish in a single sitting. The atmosphere is probably the best part for me. The unfinished house feels empty and uncomfortable without needing to constantly throw monsters at me. I am walking through dark rooms, checking work areas and finding clues while knowing that someone dangerous is somewhere nearby. I like that the game creates tension mostly through the setting and the situation rather than relying on constant jump scares. It gives me that feeling that something is wrong even when nothing is actually happening on screen. The puzzles are simple, but I think they suit the short length.
