Amazing game with amazing Devs. The gameplay is very fast paced and incredibly addictive. Together with all the different combinations of tactics you can get in a run, this leads to a lot replayability. The Devs also keep adding new playable characters as very cheap DLC, and one can tell how much work they put into them, because almost every character feels incredibly unique in how they play. 100% recommended!
Amazing. When I first bought this game, I played for about five minutes and immediately thought, "Nah, give me my money back." I was bored and refunded it. Later, I picked it up again on sale, and wow—I completely changed my mind. This game is fast, flashy, and just challenging enough to keep you engaged without becoming frustrating. What I didn't realize at first is that as you increase your Potential, you unlock a huge moveset. Before long, the combat turns into combo heaven, giving you tons of freedom to get creative with both movement and attacks. There's local co-op, which my daughter and I absolutely love, as well as online co-op. The few times I played with randoms, it was a bit laggy, but for all I know, they could've been on the other side of the world. Another feature I really like is that after you beat a run, you can save a blueprint of that character. On future runs, you can start with up to two saved characters and inherit some of the traits from your previous victories, which adds a fun layer of progression and experimentation. dead cells with combos
This game is one of the most intricate roguelikes I've ever played and I love it. If you like anything to do with tboi or other titles try this one. It's harder, but the feeling of beating a boss is more euphoric than any other.
