Blood Rush is almost there. Has great movement feel, and when you chunk an enemy you can really Feel it. This kind of movementy action game thrives on its "feel". The control you have over your character, and the response you feel from your damage, are spot on. However. If you have much experience with this type of game, you likely won't find it especially challenging. In the span of a 3hr session I got to "The End" 3 times. The End at this point is just a barrier after a boss area that says "Thats all folks!" - I have to assume this is because of its Early Access release but, thats the conclusion to a demo, not a game I paid 13 euro for. I also have to fault this game on its balancing. Consistently I found random mob arenas considerably more challenging than any of the bosses. I have not died in a boss arena once. They attack slower than the harder mobs, and telegraph their attacks so somebody on the other side of the planet could see it coming. Their damage is also considerably lower than you might expect. Sometimes I found myself barely engaging with the boss' mechanics because they posed literally no threat to me. Additionally, some of these pistols are completely busted if …5 found this helpful
This is more challenging than my lazy ___ can manage, but it is a heap of fun. I like how all the characters speak Finnish with a Swedish accent.3 found this helpful

Nearing 60 hours into this game, over 150 runs deep, I have to say what Max has made here is simply wonderful. A great boom shoot, a tribute in a lot of ways to areana shooters like Serious Sam (imo), wonderful replayability even with the unfinished content, and so much more. When I bought this game on launch I hoped for something to carry me through a weekend. What I got is simply glorious. I honestly can't help but come back time and time again with a game so well built at its core. Plus being on the Discord can attest, I just love this community. Great people, great game, what a special thing to have in a time like ours. Its hard to go wrong with an experience like this. There is a biase here, as there always is with art, but at least from me I can't wait to see what the rest of Blood Rush will bring. Hope if you pick it up too you have just as wonderful a time breaking out of hell :]1 found this helpful
