Bomber 95 is a free Bomberman clone that captures the addictive arcade gameplay with charming pixel-style graphics and responsive controls, earning praise for being fun especially in multiplayer with friends. However, players consistently criticize the limited content (only 9 levels), lack of control customization, poor online functionality with no active player base, technical issues like camera shake and default graphics crashes, missing campaign mode, and overall mediocre execution compared to the classic formula it attempts to emulate.
Silly bomberman-clone made in Unreal Engine. Simple, funny and free, I liked it !
A Fun Free-to-Play Game with a Few Rough Edges The game supports 1-9 players and offers flexibility with local, online, and bot options. However, be aware that the game defaults to Epic graphics settings, which might cause crashes on some systems, turning these settings down immediately is advisable. Despite these technical quirks, the game delivers hours of fun, especially with friends. However, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved: Host Settings: You must first fully enter the game (where you can move around and interact) before your friends can join. To make it easier for others to connect, keep the settings simple, set the game to public, and use a password if you want some security. However, I’ve never seen any random players online, so if you’re hoping to join games with real people outside your friends list, it’s unlikely. You’ll need to play solo with bots, invite friends, or combine the two. Lobby System: There’s no proper lobby for players to join and wait before the host starts the game. While the host has full control over assigning which characters are local, online, bots, or disabled, the allocation remains random for players within these g…
This is very cursed game. -can't change controls -camera shakes -no campaign bots are hard enough.
I can't Believe it
It's odd to think that this is a higher quality of game than most of the freeware I've played as of recently, and yet it's still trash. Bomber 95 is very apparently cloned off of the classic Bomberman playstyle. Coupled together with the name, we can deduce that the game is named after the year that 3 Bomberman games were released (1995). A good year for the Bomberman release schedule for sure. And apparently, since 1983 there has been almost 1 Bomberman game released per year. This however will not go down in history as a great Bomberman clone, but a mediocre one. The music is good but with only 9 levels and bot play (since nobody is playing online) there is only a few moments of content and nothing else after that. It's got some decent upbeat music though, so there's that, but either way, I can't recommend it.
Very basic implementation of "Bomberman" in 3D with "online" functionality.
