What Steam players say

Players describe this as a basic Bomberman-style puzzle game with very little content—most complete it in under 20 minutes—and poor production quality including bland graphics, repetitive music, and alleged asset-flip origins with copyright concerns. The main frustration is the price relative to content length, compounded by a tedious one-hour playtime achievement that requires continuous window focus, making the game only worthwhile for achievement hunters willing to wait for a significant discount.
Bomberman style game. Deploy a set number of bombs to destroy stones. Keep Kim alive. Bland unpolished graphics, and repetitive monotone music that does not fit the game. Puzzles are so-so, but the game is too short for the price and content offered. Worst of all is the long 1 hour gameplay achievement that requires you to do that with the window continuously focused. If interested wait for a good sale or coupon. 4/105 found this helpful
"bomber-un" is a basic asset flip/copy + paste + reskin of a Unity puzzle game template from the Russian asset flipper behind Laush Studio, using a shell account to try hide his identity. He took a basic Unity template for a puzzle game using Bomber-man style bomb placement, and a "minimum viable" number of lazy slapped together levels, and dumped it on Steam as yet another lazy cash grab in the shovelware section of the store. There's also some bonus stolen sound bytes used without permission, which means, yep, copyright infringement. As a game itself, there's no value here for gamers. It got images of the DPRK's leader slapped on in the hopes it might go viral and earn a few more roubles for the asset flipper behind this, but make no mistake, this was never made as a serious game for gamers, it's just a cash grab. From a technical perspective, if you decided to take this seriously, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality…3 found this helpful

Developed and published by Hardcore Studio, bomber-un is an independent puzzle game that builds its identity around explosive problem-solving and an intentionally eccentric sense of humor. Instead of delivering a traditional arcade-style bombing experience, it asks players to think carefully about every move as they clear stages filled with destructible stone blocks and immovable obstacles. Its unusual premise, centered on avoiding cartoon depictions of Kim Jong-un while strategically using explosives, immediately sets it apart from more conventional puzzle titles. The concept is undeniably unconventional, embracing internet-inspired satire that gives the game a distinctive personality, even if that style of humor will not appeal to everyone. The heart of the experience lies in resource management and logical planning. Every bomb is limited, meaning success depends on finding the most efficient sequence of actions rather than relying on experimentation or brute force. As players advance through the levels, the puzzles gradually become more intricate, introducing layouts that require greater precision and careful observation. Metal barriers that cannot be destroyed by standard expl…
It's a really simple puzzle game. Took me under 20 minutes to complete. The play for 1 hour achievement is unnecessary as there really is no replayability. Not worth the $3.
Bomberman greets. Interesting Idea not bad made, but only with discount for achievement hunters
