Gather up to 3 friends, choose a movie, and describe it in the most mundane, painfully dull way you can. Can they see through your boring disguise, or will your “thrilling” description of “Guy goes on a walk and drops a ring in a fire” stump them?Can you name what movies are being described?

"Boring Movies" is a failed party game/quiz game where you guess the title of a movie based on a description that's intentionally boring. Who makes games that are intentionally boring? These guys I guess. It was a massive failure. What do you do in the game? Nothing, there's no players. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as you're expected to pay up $11 USD to unlock content/DLC, the game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is some nasty, predatory pricing and PC gamers don't like it. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 9 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away.
