Rating: 8.2/10 Box Maze is a colorful arcade puzzle game that combines platforming, quick reflexes, and memory-based challenges into a surprisingly enjoyable experience. You take control of Cubert as he journeys through increasingly difficult mazes to rescue his true love, overcoming enemies, traps, and clever obstacles along the way. While the game is fairly simple, its variety of mechanics and steady increase in difficulty make it an entertaining indie title.
Box Maze is a compact yet surprisingly demanding indie game that blends arcade-style action with maze navigation and light puzzle elements. Developed by GamersHype Productions and published by SA Industry, the game presents a simple premise built around quick decision-making, pattern recognition, and persistence. At first glance it appears minimalistic and casual, but as players progress, it becomes clear that Box Maze is designed to challenge reflexes and memory as much as it aims to entertain. The game follows Cubert, a small box-shaped character navigating through a series of maze-like levels in an effort to reach his true love. Progression often requires learning through failure, as certain routes are deliberately misleading and must be memorized through repeated attempts. Gameplay is straightforward to understand but increasingly demanding to master. Movement is precise and responsive, and success depend…
very low skills game
Fun game, I recommend it
Not fun or challenging in any way. Controls are quite floaty as well.
Despite the comically awful level design, painful controls, and endlessly boring soundtrack, I actually kinda enjoy this game. It’s really cheap, and while it has its flaws, it’s not too terrible for a platformer. I’ve definitely played worse, so if you’re looking for something on a budget, it might be worth a shot, but don't expect a smooth experience.
