[h1]3.1/10 - Motion sickness simulator[/h1] While Breached is a very pretty game, it suffers from several major flaws that make it unappealing to play. You wake up from cryosleep to answer an irrelevant flavour text questionnaire, and discover that your oxygenator and fuel synthesizer are broken, leaving you 8 days to fix them before you die. The former requires you to find the necessary parts and resources for repairs. The latter requires you to collect minerals and figure out the correct ratios to synthesize fuel. The gathering is the meat of the game, and will have you piloting a rover/craft/thingy around three wastelands (plus a small tutorial map) on the surface of a planet [spoiler](post-apocalyptic Earth, obviously), using your nervous system, which is somehow fused to the craft from a distance[/spoiler]. Besides resource hunting and trial-and-erring your way to a fuel recipe, Breached features a journal system to convey lore. At the start of each day, you trigger a journal entry, which frequently includes a hashtag that allows you to search for additional entries that share the tag. I can see where the developers were going, I just wish they had gotten there.....This game could have been good. It could have been great. Sadly, the only words to describe this game are disappointing and incomplete. The entire game feels half built, like 50% of the things they wanted to do or include they simply didn't have the time or budget to do. The gameplay is simple, yet terribly frustrating. You need to save your base, since it has a breach (get it, ha ha). To do this, you must repair your generator and synthesize fuel. Sounds simple enough. To do this, you need to use a map to select a location to drop a drone. These drones suck. They go, they stop, they turn, and they collect things you need to collect if you stop near them. Its boring. So boring. There is nothing at all to keep you invested. So you fly this trash drone around and collect resources. Thats it. Thats the game. Its not fun. There are enemies, which amount to glowing orbs, but the mechanics of how they work is not explained, ever. So if you get close to them (they don't tell how close before they hurt you), they can kill you (if you stay near them too long, but how long is anyones guess). You can escape, …

[h1] An interactive book for two hours [/h1] Hello, dear travelers among the reviews! "Breached" may not be the game you're expecting. Despite its grandiose description, it struggles to deliver on its promises. In fact, we have an incredibly short and unremarkable story, but it still manages to captivate us for some unknown reason. Our protagonist, a man who wakes up from hibernation and finds himself trapped in a kind of capsule-ship, doesn't understand what's happening outside. He knows for sure that his oxygen supply system is malfunctioning and that his fuel is running out. The environment around him is either a variation of "Earth in the Future" or a completely different planet, completely covered in energy anomalies. Our task is to figure out what's going on while also trying to fix all the malfunctions in our flying machine. The gameplay is simple and involves controlling a drone to search for "points of interest" in a specific sector. It's not the most exciting activity, as the sectors are essentially empty, and the drone controls don't provide much excitement. The drone controls in the "Forza Horizon" series are similar. Well, it starts very good but then you realize it's not an intro or tutorial but the whole game.

Interesting concept and very immersive implementation, although avoid if you get motion sickness easily. I cannot recommend it only because of the puzzles without any explanation + RNG element on a very tight timer. You can't really google for answers if you get stuck, because it's mostly trial and error, and you can't try many times, because your character will get tired and the day is done. If the aim is to make you replay multiple times, there have to be at least some clues or fixed recipes. It's a missed opportunity, but I hope next title is improvement.

drone simulator, sci-fi setting. Small but intriguing and beautiful extra terrestial explorable areas. Buy if you're really into sci-fi and don't expect Star Wars or anything, it's really indie.
