About INFRA
✦ AI summary
You're a structural analyst thrust into a crumbling city infrastructure where a routine inspection spirals into a desperate fight for survival, armed only with a camera and your wits to solve environmental puzzles. This gun-free adventure lets your observations and choices determine not just your fate, but whether the people around you live or die in a world brought to collapse by its own obsession with progress.
INFRA puts you into the boots of an ordinary structural analyst – nothing more than a desk jockey assigned to survey some routine structural damage. Quickly though, your mission turns from a mundane trek to a fight for survival, all caused by deep-rooted schemes of the past. Your tools are simple: the camera around your neck and the wits to navigate a virtual labyrinth of debris. How you tell your story is your choice, will you have the commitment to finish your duty, or will you ignore all else but the preservation of your own life?
INFRA is what we like to call a gun-free puzzle adventure. Instead of large explosions and powerful guns, you will rely on your cunning to survive puzzles in an incredibly detailed world. As you travel through the infrastructure of a city you will find that your actions and thorough observations ultimately determine if others will survive. A society obsessed with upgradation has brought a disaster upon itself and it is your job to help restore it.

It was a great experience, if not a little repetitive and long winded at times. A few crashes, especially near the end made completing the game a bit more frustrating than it should have been. But overall I am satisfied with my time with it.
With the exception of some crashes and mild physics related irritation, it is a very interesting walking simulator where you actually have a great immersive experience exploring the pus-filled abscess that is Stalburg and a plot that involves quite a few characters. Ideally played with good coffee and a notepad.
Fun civil engineering game

Hi! How are you? You are probably reading this review to find out if this game is worth the price they are asking for it and expect some short, fast breakdown to get you pumping and hyped or whatever. You don't know what you are getting yourself into, my boy.... INFRA is not just any game. I believe it was made by Banksy or some other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy guy. You still don't get it, do you? It's not what it seems to be; it's a layered mystery that, when you feel like you understand it, you look down below your feet and see that there are stores of secrets still hidden in codes that, to this day have not been revealed or sufficiently explained. It's like that crazy conspiracy guy meme, but it's you after playing the game, and you are just realizing that you don't really get it, so you stop and look back and see you got, like, PTSD for playing it for 200 hours... Ask me how I know. Well anyway, you are this engineer... Engineers are great, BTW.... And you are tasked to go ahead and assess the possible risks involving various installations within your area of expertise in the city of Stahlsburg, and you may just do that... without ever realizing that there is something much, much deeper …
Utterly fantastic game. No handholding, true exploration, really rewrarding gameplay and fantastic environmental storytelling. The lack of a soundtrack in the background most of the game does leave a bit to desire, but otherwise it was a great experience and much longer than one initially thinks. Basically a bug free experience, but I have experienced a number of crashes in object-heavy maps, the common solution online seems to be setting the Memory size to low in graphics settings, but this should ideally be fixed. Not a game breaker though! all in all definite recommendation, we don't have many games like this today, you shouldn't miss it. Well worth the price.
