Break, Then Upgrade

Break, Then Upgrade is a very simple incremental game, but I found the underwater setting a surprisingly pleasant fit for the formula. I spend my time firing barrages at floating debris on the ocean floor, collecting the loot and using it to improve my equipment. It is a straightforward loop, but there is something satisfying about watching the numbers and firepower gradually increase. The main gameplay is built around shooting debris while managing my progress. The bullet based combat gives the game a little more activity than a completely passive incremental game, because I still have something to aim at and react to. I liked the feeling of breaking through larger pieces of debris and collecting enough rewards to make my next upgrade noticeably stronger. The upgrade system is really the heart of the experience. Every run gives me more resources to spend, which lets me increase my effectiveness and push the cycle further. I enjoyed that constant sense of improvement, especially when an upgrade made it noticeably easier to clear the next group of targets. Break, Then Upgrade...Uninstall. 30 mins to completion.. I think even the Ai gave up developing this. Don't waste your time.

Game that looks like someone started vibe-coding and once there was something to test released it. There are three levels and some upgrades that don't do much. All upgrades are named Demo Something and after a few minutes they are all collected and there is nothing else left to do

One of the first games made entirely by AI and not a good one. I like this kind of incremental games but this one has unappealing confusing interface and is lagging.

Why is this game lagging? There is literally no heavy ressources at all to load. Might be a hidden crypto miner, malware, or whatever running it the background. Or its just really this messed up, i cant tell, either way keep your fingers off it.

For a game of this little, it's buggy, it's laggy. Not recommended even at a free price point unfortunately.
