Broken Spell 2 is an action RPG where you battle warlocks, sorcerers, and skeleton armies across cursed temples and dark churches to rescue trapped girls and stop a devil's resurrection. Blending Chinese kung fu and ancient magic against Western dark sorcery, it delivers epic supernatural combat with a classic horror atmosphere.
Game Story
A beautiful girl's soul came to the Taoist temple to ask Master Mao for help. Master Mao sent his disciple a Chu to the dark and mysterious church to fight with the evil Western priest and the skeleton army he called to save the trapped beauty.
After than, the missing of a beautiful girl, let achu enter the garden cursed by the devil again and fight with the Wizards in Southeast Asia. Whether can stop the devil's resurrection and remove the curse on the girl, it's up to you.

Broken Spell 2 is plagued by significant technical issues that undermine its premise and gameplay, including missing voice acting, unreliable combat mechanics with input lag, inconsistent skill animations, and awkward movement controls that frequently result in unintended deaths. While players appreciate the story concept drawn from Taoist lore and acknowledge decent cutscene production, the broken combat system, poor dodge mechanics, and numerous bugs make the experience frustrating rather than enjoyable.
Broken Spell? Broken game! Purchased this game as the premise (a Chinese Action RPG with a supernatural bent) offered a different take on the genre and I wanted to support the indie development scene over there. Unfortunately, this game is hopelessly faulty, even after their supposed patch and bug fixes released earlier this year. A list of key things that DON'T work: * For an indie game, the voice overs were actually decent in the intro trailer and was one of the reasons I bought the game so I could follow the story. Unfortunately, there is NO VOICE OR SPEECH in the game (a bug which got introduced by their latest patch update it seems - why would an "update" remove a key feature from the existing game?! - go figure) * Hence you have to rely on reading the English translated subtitles which are... horrendous. The text is inconsistent, often incomprehensible and shows zero QA - e.g. in one sentence a guy is referred to as 'Stewart' and in the next sentence it becomes 'Stuart' * Saving function is broken - there is no manual save and there is NO indication when the game is auto-saving. The Game isn't to bad, Just is riddled with issues. Skills is not the same, Each button push feels random, [2] for the spin kick, well First push you might do a 360 tornado spin kick, second button push might just be a 180 degree spin kick, The UI doesn't update, Half the time the skill icons would be full, but on a cool-down? [A] and [D] Needs to be reworked, When I push Left or right, I expect a side-step, Like every other third person fighting / shooting game out there, Not a full flip to the side, It makes the game harder than it should be when you try to sneak around an enemy and Well ♥♥♥♥ me silly! I side flipped off a godamned ledge. You can't break the enemy attacks but they can break your attacks. Half the time when I tried to use the moves, I didn't even start the animation because Oh welp, Enemy hit me and broke the attack. Oh and No Cool-down on the enemies special moves, so expect the goblin to ♥♥♥♥ you like a little ♥♥♥♥♥, cause He will spam that fire attack which will put you in the loop of being knocked back on fire, to stand up and welp knocked back again.34 found this helpful

Nudity yes, Sexual Content none. Combat system needs major overhaul. Input lag horrific, you roll away after 3 seconds of pressing the designated button. Dodge mechanic useless, might as well remove. In short combat is holding the attack button (left mouse button) and pray monster health decrease faster than the player's. Needs quick inventory system to take advantage of "items" in game. Animation of NPCs talking needs refinement instead of mouth just opening and closing. Grammar of dialogue needs work. Interesting story, refering to Taoist ghost/monster hunter. Though monsters are mostly western goblins and orc types. Animation of MC's body in combat is quite good. Other animations of NPC are just generic. Buy the game to train your willpower and self inflicted suffering tolerance. Suggest the devs to create a totally new and better combat system.
