the only con is that in the "pop the cat bubbles" minigame, the RNG can sometimes give you a cat bubble at what seems to be the very last millisecond, giving you no time to react (you have to be lucky and already have your cursor there)

BUBBLEWARE is an adorable little collection of chaotic mini games that made me smile almost immediately. The whole thing is built around Bubs the Cat dragging me through a series of extremely short activities, and I liked how quickly each one starts and ends. It has a very strong WarioWare style feeling without trying to copy the larger games too closely. The controls are impressively simple. I mainly move around and use one button, which means I can understand almost every mini game immediately. The challenge comes from reacting quickly rather than memorizing complicated controls. I enjoyed how the simplicity lets the game focus entirely on timing and recognizing what I am supposed to do before the next activity starts. The variety between the mini games is what keeps the experience entertaining. Each task lasts such a short time that even when I fail, I immediately want to try again. I liked how the game constantly throws something new at me, because it prevents any individual activity from overstaying its welcome. The cat also gives the whole thing a playful personality.
