Bullet Hell Monday is just that, Bullet Hell. Possibly the shmup that's a true bullet Hell game.

This game took over my life back when it was only aviable for phone devices, I'm sure the same will happen now.

The beginning of the game is a liitttle bit too slow of a burn for me. The first chapter is boring, but things start to get more danmaku-y by the second chapter. When in doubt, press on. However... this is actually the kind of game I could recommend to a complete novice because of the extremely tame beginning chapters. So, maybe the first chapter wasn't made for players like me.

"Bullet Hell Monday: Finale" is a simple and badly made minimalist-neon vertical scrolling shmup/bullet hell game. You know the deal, it's a Galaga ripoff, only so much worse. You know the deal... fly upwards constantly and shoot waves of enemies. The end. This is an old and obsolete genre, and the weak technical delivery of this "me too" entry doesn't help breathe life into a dead format. Gamers were repulsed by the awful technical implementation, weak graphics... if I was going to seriously, in 2026, sit down and play 1980's tier shoot 'em ups, this is not the one I would choose. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason.
