Bumblebee - Little Bee Adventure

I've really tried to like this game and gave it enough chances, but it's just bad. - Ment to be relaxing, but just boring because of how slow the bee goes and the speed boasters are too few and don't do enough. - First map is 'Office' and is overly saturated which makes it incredibly hard to see anything you need to collect to progress even with the best of eyes. - First map is also bugged, at which point you just can't really progress anymore. Tried numerous times but when you need to get out of the window it just launches you back in with nothing left to do and nothing left to collect. You can't skip it either and go to the next map so it's f*cked. The idea of the game was cute but execution is terrible.

Summary: not recommended due to game-breaking bug in the first level. (Until the developer comments on this, this is the logical conclusion.) --- The movement is much too slow to be enjoyable. I had thought it would be a cute, fun game that would throw all stress away, but instead it piled on the stress when I started the game with none. Also, what is described as "knowledge shards" in the store information page that will "spawn ahead of you", don't actually spawn within sight. You still have to look 360 degrees to find where the next one is. That was why on the initial run, I had already roamed all the way to the other end of the office and collected all yellow flowers thinking they were the main collectibles, while wondering why the counter remained at "1/41" (had thought it was either a bug, or an indicator of the number of levels within the entire game). After not seemingly able to finish the level despite having collected all the yellow flowers (there were more shiny things outside the window but I could not get through with some half-hearted tries), I floated back at snail's pace to the start of the office. I really should have timed it to see how long this end-to-end journ…

An eyesore in my library. I wanted a refund after playing, but it sat in my backlog for too long. The only reason I have 5 hours logged is because I spent 4.5 hours of my time researching the glitches. Or it sat paused in the background because I was bored and frustrated.

Bought the game during the Summer Sale so I only paid ~$7. Unfortunately I waited too long and couldn't refund it. First level is broken, you can't get outside of the office. You can't advance, and you can't skip the level. The bee is unbearably slow, even with the little "sprint". There is no explanation for anything. No mention of the controls being inverted (up is down, down is up), what you're collecting and why, how you got into the situation, etc. I spent a lot of my play time thinking the energy bar was a health bar, so I ended up wasting a lot of the bottles (the bar was always full so collecting bottles did nothing). The collectibles spawn as you collect them, but don't always spawn within your view. I wouldn't mind this, but the over-saturation was maddening. I could hardly see the collectibles. The game has potential, but its unplayable as it is right now. Don't waste your money. The final nail in the coffin was that the intense yellow gave me a two day migraine.

The movement speed is waaaay to slow and the Office map is way to saturated. Maybe its because you see the world as a bee, but its just not pleasant to move around in. I can see how the game could be relaxing, but the above things just makes me unable to enjoy the game. The Idea is cute and all, but it's just executed in a very poor way.
