✦ AI summary
Players praise Bombini's cute aesthetic, tight controls, and clever design that uses achievements to guide gameplay, making it accessible and rewarding for completionists. However, the game's brevity is a significant concern—most players can finish all content in under an hour—which makes the premium price feel unjustified; many recommend only purchasing it on sale or as part of a bundle rather than standalone.
It's a short game, but not without some difficulty. It's cute. It's cheap--even more so on sale! It's worth a go for any achievement hunters or sokpop completionists out there.1 found this helpful
It's aight. A one-and-done kinda game. My boyfriend thinks it's cute. The controls and design of the game are great. The achievements serve as an adequate way to guide the player. I would only get it on sale or in the bundle though. It's not very intruiging to me as a stand-alone.1 found this helpful
This is the type of game that should be free. There's nothing to do.1 found this helpful
Bombini is probably the shortest Sokpop game I've played so far (I 100% all achievements in under 30 minutes). Your goal is to create a small Bee army by collecting pollen and fighting the very creepy spiders, alongside a massive one right at the end! I do recommend this game as it was a fun experience albeit very short. I enjoyed exploring the world and the game mechanics, although the game does teach you most of the controls, I did find the one they didn't tell you fun to discover myself. This 'boost mode' really got me through my second play through as that point it did begin to feel a little monotonous. That being said, I do suggest playing the game without it first and soaking up the atmosphere, as I really feel that's where the game really excels! (For those who are curious on how to boost, the
B Key
is what you want)1 found this helpful
I love sokpop games. This one is alright.
It's okay. Janky, short, interesting. If you liked Fishy then you'll probably like this.
