BUSTAFELLOWS season2

An amazing sequel to an amazing otome! If you loved s1, you'll love s2. Even though it's been a few years since I've played the original, as soon as I opened the game it felt like no time had passed. New Sieg is still the same lovable city with the same lovable characters. Many of the gameplay aspects are better in s2, which makes the interface much easier. I wholly recommend!

Finally, I finished the game at 96% (bc the archive 024 it's driving me crazy). Bustafellows 1 was my first otome and that game who made me fell in love with this gender. Actually, I feel that this sequel it's probably better than the first game. The routes were amazing. I was really surprise bc my fav characters from the first game are Shu and Mozu, Limbo was mid and at the end Scarecrow and Helvetica, but in this game the routes from Helvetica and Scarecrow were my favourites. The Helvetica route it's just so well-written I cried a lot. Helvetica really show a lot of strengh and and give his all for Teuta, and the scene of them changing the hairstyle was epic. And what can I say from Scarecrow, he gets a big development from the first game, I will never forget how he told Teuta that he started loving himself because of her. I mean this are such big words to say to someone you're in love. Idk, this route made me so happy. So yes, I really recommend playing this game. It probably leave a mark on you.

Season 2 starts directly after the events of the last game, post Auld Lang Syne, and assumes the reader is acquainted with the plot points and the cast by now, so there's no point going in unless they've read the previous entry. Now how would they be able to start so casually after the prequel's godawful last chapter? The answer is: they don't. First thing the writer did was to retcon a particular character's fate, and thank goodness for that. Then they proceeded to have Teuta sit in a room with her childhood friend Luka and talk for half an hour about what happened, to hammer home that "no really, that totally happened, but look life goes on". Good job, really. This is a theme that will be reprised later in the VN, but we'll get to that. The opener is a red herring that might lead the reader into an initial speculation about Teuta's intentions and the gang as a whole being in on it, which turns out to be unfounded. The plot then shifts gears and railroads the VN into yet more of the same - immigration, corruption and time traveling through Teuta's signature power. This time around however, the tone is lighter and the themes touched upon slightly less hurting. Much like the last g…
