About C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield
Roguelike-style deckbuilding and SRPGs meet in this game to create an all-new genre!
Lead the Clausewitz Battalion into a map shrouded in mist. Find and enhance cards to create powerful decks to do battle with against strong foes.
On that day, a jet black dragon descended on the kingdom, and in the blink of an eye it had destroyed everything.
The 100 Years' War...
That was the name given to the ongoing battle between the 17 countries.
Already it seemed like a war with no end, but the appearance of a single dragon changed everything.
It was a "chimera" created from a dragon with no interest in the humans' war and the spirit of a warmongering human.
The weapon, created by the enemy country Fahftania, could not be completed without great sacrifice.
However, Fahftania joined forces with the giant organization Hellmuth Brigade to sacrifice 1000 of their citizens to create the greatest chimera in history.
Having acquired this overwhelming power, no one possessed the ability to defeat Fahftania and the Hellmuth Brigade.
Seth Arden, a scout from the Clausewitz Battalion has discovered that Fahftania is creating chimeras in their aim to take over the world.
Hearing this, Captain Vel Dina is angered by their inhumane experiments.
To put a stop to these terrible, cold-hearted experiments, the Clausewitz Battalion sets off for Fahftania.
However, they would soon find that all of Fahftania is under the Hellmuth Brigade thrall... ・ Fresh Gameplay: combining roguelike-style deckbuilding with SRPGs for a brand-new experience
・ Cards: over 100 varieties, all with unique designs
・ Search Through the Mist: Clear away the mist on the map to discover enemies, facilities, and equipment and form a battle plan
・ Battle system: combines SRPG turn-based battles with card battles
Witness the unique tactical gameplay offered by SRPGs with a rougelike twist!
Use over 100 varieties of cards to build powerful decks, and strategically confront enemies on an SRPG field.
Every encounter requires a different strategy. Adapt to new battlegrounds and plan accordingly.
Build the strongest deck and put a stop to the Hellmuth Brigade's actions.
Don't miss out on this new gaming experience!
It adds the elements of card battles to the traditional SRPG strategy-focused turn-based battles.
Good deckbuilding is important to gain the upper edge in any battle.
A fusion of the strategic positioning and tactics of SRPGs, with the excitement of card battlers!
A map shrouded in mist awaits you.
Clear the mist away as you advance forward, and discover hidden enemies, facilities, and equipment.

As of now, I cannot recommend this game at full price. I bought it because it was bundled with Chrono Ark, so I had a discount. Pros: -The devs did listen to feedback by implementing Individual decks. I cannot understand how this game was playable beforehand with one shared deck... it just nerfed ranged unit beyond what I can comprehend.. -There is room for improvement if they keep updating and releasing content? -The art aesthetic and theme is nailed on. Cons: -Design: I am unsure yet how I like some of the design choices... For the individual deck, you can send all the cards to one unit and have units with hyper efficient deck and strong cards while you just bench one unit with all the bad cards in his deck. Which makes the deckbuilding/discard facilities somewhat useless between chapters/battles... The card variety/depth is not there yet. Most new cards are just, oh you had Defend 10, look at this new card Defend 15, same for attack, Attack 5 to Attack 10. This is underwhelming for a deckbuilding. -DLC: New starting units... they should be unlockabled through playing... from what i can see, those assets were already existing in the game before. Does not come with new cards ei…9 found this helpful
Not a bad game if you need something mindless to play. With that being said, I would wait for a discount (Like around $15).9 found this helpful
It's very pretty to look at. the u.i and other stuff the cards artwork is nice. the gameplay is a huge loop, when you get items to boost movement, your slower units never really see play, it doesnt help to have too many cards, but it's super easy to get rid of them, no limit to how few you can have, you can spam 0 cost cards with a few strong 2 cost cards and wreck a lot of enemies in 1 turn. there's no real technique to playing, no strategy, just use your units that move fastest across the board, equip any items without limit, you can have 4 healing items that heal you 5hp/turn so like 20hp/turn, most enemies can hit like 20-30 from what i seen i think i done like 10 stages a few bonus stages(those weren't bad), way too easy, once you have cards that you like and that work well, there's very little reason to get new ones expect to fill out your card collection, so most event to get new cards are just boring, items have so little use, you can spam an amber eye or two on your scout and just see tons of the map, there's little limit to viewing the field, healing items are full heals, i barely used them. enchanting cards you can boost some by +2. it's got a lot but, there's no depth, …4 found this helpful
Good game but bad price (play a lot on "demo" waiting for the right price) The game is really entertaining, but it becomes repetitive after a while. The DLC units are fun to play, but at the price of the base game, they should have been included from the start. The voice acting becomes annoying pretty quickly, although I love this type of game. I guess it’s a battle card game – the cards are varied and the strategies in the individual deck mode are really interesting compared to the combined deck from a year ago. The soundtrack is okay, the story is fine but you mostly just want to skip it because of the voices. The visuals do the job very well. The special price of $20 feels like the right price. I really think the game would have sold better and had a stronger community if it had launched at that price. The upgrade system works but feels a bit empty, and items quickly become overwhelming due to their number. They should probably add a trash system or let us combine them – for example, 10 steel swords could turn into 1 gold sword. They should also send out some keys to YouTubers to make the game better known, because despite its flaws, it’s a game worth discovering. I spend m…2 found this helpful
