Can't Live Without Electricity

Sadly, this isn't a true puzzle game in the pure sense, even though it looks like one at first blush. The level maps are the same each time, but the locations of all of the houses are all randomly chosen each time. That means that you aren't "solving" a puzzle so much as you are rerolling the level until you can get a puzzle that is solvable to the extent you want. This makes the game a lot more like Solitaire - complete with the frustration of getting it almost solved, only to lose near the end.

I love creating pipe-mares, and cooking enough spaghetti to make an Italian blush. Teaches quintessential skills for Factorio players.

Unique concept, simple and fun until you hit the lategame puzzle, which will take hours of rerouting and make your brain explode. 10/10

The core concept of the game is okay, it plays a little bit like Mini Motorways with some additional mechanics, but I find some of the design choices to really detract from it. The tutorial teaches you the basics and all is well, until the first level which is overwhelming and downright unpleasant. Usually you would expect the first stage of a game to ease you into the concept and teach you how to confidently use the mechanics, but instead it throws you into a challenge that is both visually "busy" and mechanically somewhat unfun. The second level is better but introduces a brand new mechanic that isn't difficult to figure out, but was also not mentioned at any point in the tutorial or first level. I decided to stop playing after the first two levels because it didn't feel fun. It feels kind of like the game is a proof of concept or in beta phase and hasn't gotten the proper level of polish for an actual release. Given that it was published in 2023, I doubt that will change in future.
