And I thought Dungeon Keeper was evil.. This game really puts you in the ultra-capitalist mindset. My ideals go out the window as I find myself hiring way too many middle managers, firing sick and sad employees, and unleashing union busting tactics that I utterly deplore in real life. Don't let the cute aesthetic fool you. You will mess up the lives of these cute little guys all so that you can make a little bit more money. All of that is framed by this opening sequence where we see this wolf grow up with hopes and dreams. Every indicator points to this wolf being the protagonist. That through this wolf we will rise up the corporate ranks. But all of that is not to be. The game opens and our protagonist (Wolfie, 22) is just our first of many, identical employees with names and ages that become white noise. Eventually you won’t even be able to pick Wolfie out of the crowd. Who he is doesn’t matter. His hopes and dreams, irrelevant. What matters is that Wolfie doesn’t stop working for a second, no matter how sick or miserable he becomes. Gameplay-wise, we're dealing with an idle clicker that seems very straight forward, but gets deceptively tricky. Being the boss doesn't mean yo…

Initially played the demo a while back and the full version is even more addictive than that. The humor is on point as well and I look forward to seeing how to further optimize. Likely a great game for people who like factorio or other optimization/automation problems.

Super fun and fast-paced game with some really lovely art and catchy music!! I love the ironically cute tone - the humour is top-notch, with the consultant description in particular getting a good laugh out of me :D I would recommend this to anyone looking for a genuinely challenging game and an incredibly rewarding (but really actually sad as all hell when you think about it) power-trip-style experience!!

I got to test this game very early on. It's a bit active in the beginning, but as soon as you get some middle managers going it gets much easier. Then they start getting sad and you need HR, and to pay for HR you need another little quadrant of desk jockeys, which means it's finally worth it to get an upper management. Then the plague hits, a union starts to creep in, and your HR person starts getting sad, so now you need two of those, fire all the sick and unionized, oh and reclick the upper management and just keep GROWING because the investors need MORE Gameplay: frantic clicker. easily macro-able. It is quite active but not like starcraft 2 pro APM active. if you can handle any RTS game, you can handle this. could have a few more QoL perks, maybe a shift click on HR and upper management. 8.5/10 Art: Cute and dark and hand drawn. 9.5/10 Replayability: 8/10 soundtrack: actually a bop, wish there was more 9.5/10 Overall 8.8/10 Excellent game, would have paid $9 if not recieved for free. Will probably update review later if they do more DLC.
