Shoot your way through several zones and a complex story.
Scavenge ennemy ships to equip modules on your own. Your ship holds up to seven modules pointed in any direction, allowing you to choose your play style.
With a wide tech tree, replay the adventure with varying strategies choosing among 31 different technologies.
Discover an alien universe with its own rules, mixing friendly yet annoying pacifists, administrators with little regard for your future and conquerors with no morals.
The outcome of the adventure will depend on your choices.

It is boring for me. A 2D game about the space could be made a lot more fun than this. The difficulties set for players are not gradual but intensive. Though you could play it smoothly, I would not recommend it.1 found this helpful

I Only recommend this game for hardcore players. This game is hard. Tip: - To make the controls better you have to go the menu and switch from relative to absolute direction (thanks luckz) What you should know: - You'll die many times in each chapter, Until you learn a good strategy or the way you should go; - Probably you'll have to restart your save game, because you can't reset your skill tree. (I think one option to reset it, would be good for non-hardcore games, in the coward mode).
