About Captain of the Guard
You have been charged with the defense of a new settlement in a hostile land. Prepare your guards and send them into battle against the horde of creatures that stalk the wilderness. As time passes and the settlement grows, so do the threats that you face.
Upgrade your guards with a unique leveling system along with a wide variety of weapons, armor, feats, and magical abilities to keep them one step ahead of danger. With randomly generated encounters, no play-through is the same, forcing you to constantly adapt to new enemies and challenges.
Manually control your guards in battle or watch them fight on their own with the auto-battler system.

It's not the best thing in the world but it's 100% worth the price
This game is super addictive! The tile feature makes taking over land so satisfying that I literally did not want to stop playing. Successful battles can earn you gold and allow you to make upgrades to your stats and gear. If you’re not careful with your choices, you'll find your team dying round after round, but it's a great balance between challenging and rewarding. Definitely worth checking out!
The game is much larger than I thought it was going to be. I'm about 6 hours in to the game so far, and the end doesn't seem to be coming up anytime soon. Very addicting with all of the new gear upgrades each time your settlement levels up. I really like how you can control the combat yourself, or use the auto-battle feature. Would recommend, especially for $8.99. Great value for the amount of game you get.
