Card Summoner

There is no endgame. Defeated the last Boss and... nothing. I only can load my save file before defeating him. The Void level mechanics also realy suck,

I understand what their going for, most cards don't have effects but their are cards that give effects to monsters however at least in the beginning there really weak and kinda pointless and in the starter deck there's only a couple so its mostly so spamming out big beat sticks, Maybe the game gets better way later on but I played for an hour and its just place a bigger guy to beat their big guy, its really boring and that's a shame as I actually like the concept but I think the execution is done pretty badly there needs to be way more cards that give creatures abilities and ones that actually aren't just like deal 3 damage upon being attacked, gain attack, heal for 3, etc.

A really good concept that was dropped almost when launched while the game still being too green. Another example to remind myself I should not trust on early access.

I guess I played about seven battles. Barely scratched the surface but it wasn't very fun and I didn't see it changing. You and your foe hand a handful of cards, a deck, and five front lines to place them in, along with five backline spaces for defense and special card. Pretty basic stuff. But too basic, it seemed to me. There didn't see the be any real strategy, no tactics at all, and the cards, while they were pretty, weren't very interesting. The balance was way off, your action points start at 1 and go up. (You start at two if the other player goes first) It wasn't hard to have no cards that you could play, meaning you might have to burn a card to get extra energy. There is also no way to refill your hand, and it is easy to play more than one card per turn. This meant that by the time out energy got to seven I was constantly forced to waste energy because I had no cards to play after the first one. Imagine having seven points, and one two point card in your hand. Ick. There is a champion function, by they aren't really great, and you can't pick what row they appear in, which sucks. I paid $2 and was hoping for something nostalgic, the equipment overwrites the abilities of monsters and there's not even any real big bosses I can summon.
