Catsploration is a game where it's possible to make your own fun you just need to try a little and you will see the years of development squeezed into a couple of hours of gameplay. I recommend buying this game if you enjoy character creation and selecting stats that may not be relevant in this game but can be ported to your next cat based pathfinder session. There is an adventure to be had here for those who can enjoy a technically competent but directionless game

A short adventure that mimics an RPG with stats, quests, and inventory, but none of it matters, since you’re just an ordinary cat sent on a quest. The game opens with what appears to be a detailed character creation menu. It lets you assign stats, pick skills, and even choose a profession, with options like noble or herbalist. However, this setup is ultimately a playful joke, because you’re actually playing as a cat. None of these selections influence gameplay in any way. The only meaningful customization comes from picking your cat’s pattern and name, but even that’s limited, since there are just two available skins to choose from. Despite initially presenting itself as an action-RPG, the game is much closer to an adventure platformer. The core mechanic revolves around jumping, which is your main ability and the one you’ll rely on throughout the game. There’s also a “sit” command, which on its own doesn’t serve any real purpose. However, it becomes necessary when you want to execute a high jump. I really enjoyed this game and felt the world was fun to explore. I felt like there was enough content for the price. I enjoyed the exploration and quests. I did find the platforming a bit frustrating but it wasn't so bad that I wanted to give up. It was a fun game that provided several hours of enjoyment.

This review is based on how the game is right now. There are parts of the game that clearly show that the game isn't finished and it gives a lot of potential for RP. The exploration is nice, the story is simple, the different puzzles are easy but nice for chilling. Overall graphics are good (amazing sunset...). Got no glitches, didn't get stuck in walls or textures, just some slight graphics bugs like missing some foliage in bushes for exemple. It has a lot of potential as of right now.
