Great game.

Cauldron Chaos is the kind of party game that I can appreciate simply because it knows how to be silly. I control a jelly boned wizard in chaotic arena battles where magic, potions and physics combine to create complete nonsense. I liked the ragdoll focused presentation because even a simple mistake can send my wizard flying across the map. The combat is built around strange wands and explosive potions, with fights happening in compact top down arenas. I enjoyed how easy it is to understand the basics while still having room to experiment with different attacks. The physics also make the matches less predictable because being knocked around can completely change my position or ruin an attack I was preparing. The wand power ups add some nice variety to the otherwise simple structure. I liked picking up new abilities during a match and trying to make them work with the space around me. Since movement and positioning are so important, the arenas become part of the combat instead of simply being empty backgrounds. The multiplayer focus is easily where the game is at its best. Local play makes the chaos much more enjoyable because I can immediately react to what everyone else is doin…

Meh, its free so wasn't expecting much but was very simple so just felt like I was watching the timer go by
