Celbugs

In Celbugs, you oversee Celbug Island. You help increase their population through your own personal breeding program while assisting in their fight against their natural enemy - the Gnats. Despite seeming like two disconnected ideas at first, the Celbug Island portion and the Gnat-fighting portion are interestingly connected. Different types of Gnats are weak to different types of Celbugs. By choosing parents with traits that will help you in the next fight, you can selectively breed the best bugs for the job. You can get strategic in breeding a new Celbug designed by you specifically to counter the challenges present in the puzzle stages. For example, if a level contains lots of explosive tiles, you may want to breed smaller Celbugs that can easily fit into tight gaps. Preparing the perfect team to confront a challenging stage is one of my favourite elements of the game and the part I find the most unique. Celbugs is a fun time and I'd recommend it for anyone looking for an interesting and fast-paced strategy game.

This game is an endearing puzzle masterpiece, complete with an excellent soundtrack. At this price, it really is a steal - you'd be regretting not putting it in your library!
