Kind of grindy and definitely incomplete, but I learned some stuff so that's a success.

It's not a bad game. The premise is really neat. But the combat feels slow, the typos are jarring, and the whole thing feels very unpolished. With quite a few dialogue choices that do nothing, and the promised Act 3 that is "coming soon", this feels entirely unfinished. This seems like the developer's first game. I hope they are not discouraged (the first game I developed was very rough, too), but even as a free game I honestly cannot recommend this in its current incomplete state.

RPG Maker strikes again! Cells of Immunity is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This is one of the worst RPG Maker asset flips ever made. And considering how completely godawful your average RPG Maker asset flip is, this is a considerable achievement. This is nearly 100% RPG Maker stock assets and generated art. The plot, if it could be called one, is unrelated to the generic standard RPG Maker amateur kitbash, and involves blood cells and the human immune system, which is just silly considering that doesn't play out into any of the actual game mechanics, which, again, are just stock RPG Maker engine garbage. What a train wreck. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedi…

This game is only partially finished. It advertises three acts of story but ends after act 2. The story is extremely basic, the majority of the gameplay is grinding and completing 'gather x number of this object' quests, and the game as a whole is shoddily put together. The intro could have been interesting if it had spent just a little more time establishing the characters. I suppose it is a little educational, but not much. Honestly the only good thing I have to say about it right now is that the combat is very nicely balanced. If they ever actually finish making the game perhaps it might be worth some of your time, but as it is, I can't recommend, even as a free to play game. They really shouldn't advertise the game as finished when it's clearly only partially done. I certainly hope the developers continue to work on this. It does have potential, but as it stands it falls far short of reaching that potential.
