Cemetery Mary is the story about a girl who loves visiting the cemetery.
When rumors of a serial killer start floating around town, she isn't too worried--that is, until her parents go missing. And in the wake of their disappearance, a message from an unknown number leaves Mary to wade through a sea of doubts and questions.

Is the rumored "Blackwood Butcher" playing some sort of sick prank? Or is something even more sinister responsible for their disappearance? Will she be able to find the identity of the mysterious killer, or the whereabouts of her parents?
Or will her meddling threaten to make her a permanent resident of the very cemetery she so admires?
This visual novel consists of 3 different routes, each with a Good Ending and a Bad Ending. There is also a True Ending, which can potentially be unlocked by playing any of the 3 routes.
Average playtime for 1 route is 2-2.5 hours. The True Ending is capable of adding an additional 1-2 hours.
Credits follow the True Ending!

Cemetery Mary is a gruesome and endearing visual novel with seven different endings (three good, three bad, one true), and I've played through all of them. There are so many layers to the storytelling and I was obsessed while playing this game. It's SO GOOD. It tends to have a creepy, dark and sometimes scary atmosphere to suit the setting of a small town where people are going missing and being killed. Be warned: this is a game where murder is a major part of the story; violent scenes are depicted. But amongst all that horror, there are genuinely heartwarming moments, humour and powerful messages about the nature of grief. The main characters are the protagonist Mary, plus Crowven, Reginald and Twyla. They all have distinct personalities and speech styles and there's a lot to discover about all of them. One thing I really liked was how connected they all are. You could choose to spend time with one character, let's say Twyla, and you'd learn her story from getting close to her. But on your next playthrough when you choose someone else, for example Crowven, you'd not only learn about Crowven, but you'd also discover a whole new side to Twyla. I cannot freaking BELIEVE this was a FREE game???? I would absolutely pay money for this game. It's got seven different endings where each one is vastly different, a ton of crazy plot twists, and the characters are all written incredibly. I genuinely got on the ground and screamed when [spoiler]one character died. :,0 [/Spoiler] The music and art style are awesome, too. I know it's a much older game at this point, but I really hope the creator comes back to the characters someday, because [spoiler]so much is left unexplained. Also the true ending felt really out of pocket...[/spoiler] Overall, cannot recommend this game highly enough.1 found this helpful
